Spicy Cucumber Margarita
No summer cocktail hour is complete until someone orders a Spicy Cucumber Margarita! It’s one of our favorites at The Culinistas for it’s clean alcohol, fresh veg, and feisty feel.
Prep Time: 12 minutes
Cook Time: 3 minutes
4 Tablespoons Water
4 Tablespoons Turbinado Sugar
4 oz Blanco Tequila
2 oz Lime Juice
1 oz Simple Syrup
6 Cucumber Slices (reserve 2 slice for garnish)
4 Jalapeño Slices (reserve 2 for garnish)
- In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, heat sugar and water to make simple syrup. When sugar dissolves, cover, cool, and set aside.
- Combine all ingredients and muddle cucumber and jalapeño with a spoon.
- Add ice and shake vigorously for 8-10 seconds. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into two rocks glasses filled with ice.
- Garnish each glass with both a cucumber and jalapeno slice.
