We recommend making half a dozen hard-boiled eggs (and peeling them) to have on hand in a real pinch. Seven minutes gets the yolk to bright yellow with a sticky-but-not-runny consistency.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 7 minutes
Serves 3 to 6
Ingredients
6 large organic, cage-free eggs
Water, for boiling
Instructions
1. Place eggs in a pot with room temp water filled one inch.
2. Bring water to a boil and then cover the pot while still boiling. Let boil for 7 mins.
3. Strain the water and transfer the eggs to an ice bath or run under cold water for one minute.
4. Once the eggs are completely cooled, peel and eat.
