Culinistas's Kitchen,  Hosts

Holiday Gift Guide

by The Culinistas

Thanksgiving is over and the winter holidays are quickly approaching! Below are our favorite gifts for family, friends, and loved ones alike.

Jono’s ceramics are specifically made for chefs, making them the perfect way to showcase meals of any kind. Plus, the vessels easily double in use for purposes beyond the kitchen. His small bowls, vases, and platters in particular make excellent gifts.

Chef and spice master Lior Sercarz offers single spices, sets, and signature blends online and in his Hell’s Kitchen storefront. The single spices are of excellent quality but for a truly unique gift, we recommend one of his blends. Between his Eric Ripert collaboration and the 50+ house blends available, you’ll be sure to find something one of a kind. Spiced chocolate bars are also available for those with a sweet tooth.

In case you didn’t snag one during Stuab’s Black Friday sale, it’s not too late! Several colorways are offered at discounted rates. Dutch ovens are a kitchen staple, and can double as a serving dish if you’re going for a rustic vibe.

No one can have too much high quality olive oil. Kosterina Greek olive oil is pressed from early harvest olives and has a light fruity flavor perfect for cooking, or as a finishing oil. With the beautiful design, the bottle fits perfectly on the kitchen counter.

A large cutting board is something you don’t know you need until you have it. Not only are Boos Blocks durable, they’re reversible and are made with sustainably sourced wood. Continuing with the rustic theme, Boos Blocks can double as serveware and are perfect for cheese or crudites boards, giving you tons of room to play around.

A special thanks to Nadia Agsen for the beautiful photograph.
