Simplicity is Key with Fran Miller

by The Culinistas

Fran Miller started F. Miller Skincare out of a necessity for all natural, simple, effective skincare products. The line started with their now signature Face Oil, a potent yet lightweight multi-tasking blend of 22 active botanicals, five years later she has branched into toning mists, eye oils, lip balms, and even products for your hair and body. Still, Fran’s philosophy remains the same, and she continues to uphold the strict standards of eco-friendly, organic, and ethically crafted ingredients, right down to the packaging. We sat with Fran to discuss her skincare muses, culinary kitchen essentials, and top menu selects for glowing skin.

Glowing Skin Menu Picks

Morning Glory Bread (with with carrot, zucchini, banana, flax seed, sunflower seed, rolled oat, coconut sugar, apple cider vinegar, cardamom)

I often crave a baked treat in the morning with my coffee. This, warmed up with coconut butter spread on top, sounds like heaven.

Crab Salad on Endive (with jumbo lump crab, ginger, cucumber, jalapeno, cilantro, lime, endive)

A light but flavorful and always satisfying snack.

Grilled Watermelon Salad (with watermelon, sheep's feta, arugula, basil, mint, shallot)

One of my favorite dishes, instantly transports me to summer.

Chimichurri Chicken (with chicken breast, parsley, cilantro, oregano, garlic, fresno chili, lemon)

Simple dishes with herby, citrusy flavors always win my heart.

Carrot Roasted Brussels (with brussels sprout, carrot, golden raisin, almond, cilantro, lemon)

I love brussels in all forms, these have the perfect balance of sweet and savory.

Meyer Lemon Tart (with meyer lemon, black berry, rice flour, agave, egg, butter, sumac)

I have a serious sweet tooth so dessert is never a question. This tart sounds perfectly fresh, light, and indulgent all at the same time.

Thank you to Fran Miller for providing the beautiful photo.
